Parents’ Engagement

1. Fun with Mum

The Fun with Mum parent engagement program brought mothers and children of Lower Infant together for a joyful session of learning, creativity, and bonding. It began with a brief discussion on handling challenging situations with children and the importance of quality time. Mothers and children enjoyed dancing together, created heart prints with their handprints, and decorated the Christmas tree, celebrating the festive spirit while strengthening their bond through shared experiences.

2. Awareness Programme on Oral Health and a Sugar-Free School Environment

The Parent Engagement Program for Classes I and II focused on Oral Health and a Sugar-Free Environment. Led by renowned dentist Dr. Sharmistha Ghosh, the interactive session, encouraged healthy habits and brighter smiles. Parents shared their experiences and discussed practical ways to promote healthy food choices and proper dental care at home.

3. Growing Together

Gentle Parenting for ‘happy children’ was a meaningful parent engagement session for Upper Infant parents. It focused on gentle communication, understanding children’s emotions, and nurturing their overall development with love and patience.

4. Yuletide Spirit

A joyful Parent Engagement Program, “Christmas Spirit,” was organized for the mothers of Classes III–V, offering them a refreshing break from their daily routines. The celebration featured an energetic Zumba session, “Sing as You Choose,” Rock and Roll dancing, and interactive games, creating an atmosphere of fun, laughter, and bonding. The program concluded with coffee and food packets, leaving the mothers with cherished memories and renewed spirits.

5. Anando Utshob

A joyful Parent Engagement Program, “Christmas Spirit,” was organized for the mothers of Classes III–V, offering them a refreshing break from their daily routines. The celebration featured an energetic Zumba session, “Sing as You Choose,” Rock and Roll dancing, and interactive games, creating an atmosphere of fun, laughter, and bonding. The program concluded with coffee and food packets, leaving the mothers with cherished memories and renewed spirits.

6. Moms’ Summer Escape

A refreshing Parent Engagement Program was organized for the mothers of the Pre-Primary and Primary sections, offering them a joyful break from their daily routines. The summer workshop featured Power Yoga, a healthy tiffin-making session and an energetic Zumba session. The program provided a perfect opportunity for the mothers to unwind, rejuvenate, and enjoy some well-deserved time for themselves.

7. Hold a Hand

Grandparents’ Day was celebrated through a special program titled “Hold the Hand,” where grandparents shared heartfelt memories and spoke lovingly about their grandchildren. They also entertained everyone by singing songs and reciting poems, making the occasion truly memorable. This was followed by a lively fair in which several NGOs and parents put up stalls featuring handmade jewellery, saris, food items, and other products. The program was a wonderful celebration of family, creativity, and community participation.

8. Mama Fest

Mama Fest was a lively Parent Engagement Program that brought together invited mothers from other schools. Along with their children, they enthusiastically participated in creative dress-up challenges using newspapers and craft paper, followed by a fun catwalk, dance and engaging games. The event offered a wonderful opportunity for mothers and children to bond, have fun, and connect with families from different schools.

9. Candy Cane Lane 3.0

The annual Winter Carnival brought parents and children together for a joyful Christmas celebration. Mothers and pre-primary children, including invited participants from other schools, enjoyed dance, a festive catwalk, games, and stalls. The carnival was a wonderful occasion to relax, bond, and celebrate together.

10. Mama Mia

Mama Mia, a Parent Engagement Program for primary mothers, offered a joyful opportunity to revisit and share cherished childhood memories. Teachers also demonstrated healthy and nutritious tiffin options, such as dry-fruit barfi and wholesome cookies, while explaining their ingredients and benefits. The program beautifully combined nostalgia with healthy eating.

Parent Engagement

The most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of the parents along with the schools. Parents form an integral part of the school and the bond with the parents is strengthened through various activities and workshops which are conducted for them.
